Founder, Infinite Urns
Established in 2006, Infinite Urns embodies a journey of love, passion, and reverence for the memories of our cherished ones. Meet the visionary behind the artistry, Brent Everett.
Born and raised in Fort Collins, Colorado, Brent embarked on a quest for knowledge and adventure that would shape his destiny. His path led him to Durango, Colorado, where serendipity introduced him to the world of stone carving. Inspired by artists like Joshua Wiener and Madeline Wiener, Brent's passion for sculpting began to blossom.
In 1996, Brent's journey took him to the MARBLE/marble Stone Carving Symposium in Marble, Colorado, where he delved into the timeless art of stone carving. Over the next 12 years, he honed his craft under the guidance of master sculptors and alongside fellow artisans from around the globe. This immersive experience not only taught him the intricacies of sculpting but also instilled in him a deep appreciation for cultural diversity and human connection.
Driven by an insatiable curiosity, Brent pursued a degree in Geology from Northern Arizona University. Specializing in metamorphic petrology and structural geology, he embarked on a research project that delved into the mysteries of the Colorado Yule Marble. His findings, published in a peer-reviewed journal, not only deepened his understanding of geology, and the famous Colorado Yule Marble, but also enriched his approach to sculpting, infusing each creation with the geological narrative of the stone itself.
Following his academic pursuits, Brent ventured into the realm of Hydrogeology, earning a Master of Science from San Francisco State University. For over a decade, he dedicated himself to environmental consulting, advocating for the preservation of our planet's natural resources
In 2015, Brent returned to his roots in Fort Collins, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and a profound sense of purpose. It was here that Infinite Urns was reborn—a testament to his belief that the spirit transcends the physical vessel and lives on in eternal memory and realms.

Philosophy
Honoring Eternal Spirits
Brent is deeply inspired by his belief that our spirits depart from our earthly vessels upon death, returning to the eternal, divine realm. What remains on earth is the vessel and the memory of the spirit that once inhabited it. He understands that losing a loved one can be a devastating and challenging experience, often accompanied by confusion and grief. Brent believes that one way to cope with this loss and initiate the healing process is by honoring and preserving the memories of our loved ones.
These memories can take various forms—music, a favorite meal, cherished places, familiar scents, poignant images, or profound emotions that resonate deeply within us. Brent recognizes the enduring connection we share with our departed loved ones, acknowledging that the memory of their eternal spirit can sometimes fade over time. It is within this framework of belief and understanding that Infinite Urns was conceived. Brent's mission is to honor the spirit of our loved ones and ensure that their connection and memory remain alive. Through his work, he strives to capture the essence of each individual's spirit in stone sculpture, encapsulating all or a portion of their ashes within unique, custom-made urns.
One of the distinguishing aspects of Brent’s approach is his dedication to understanding the client's unique connection with their departed loved one. Brent’s approach in his initial client interview, consists of him delving deeply into the essence of the departed loved one. From these conversations, he gathers intricate details that he then imbues into every curve of the artwork, incorporating deep symbolism throughout. This meticulous process ensures that each urn becomes a personalized tribute, resonating with the spirit it honors and reflecting the unique journey of the individual.
